The holiday season can certainly be a little bit overwhelming. With this in mind, my goal for this holiday season was to try and help things go as smoothly, and as stress-free, as possible. The biggest way I am able to control how much or how little I stress this holiday season lies in the concept of goal setting. At the start of the holiday season, I promised myself that I would get my shopping done as early, and as efficiently as possible. Shopping and gift-wrapping can often times be the source of the most holiday stress, for me. Going into December, I am proud to say that I am done with my shopping, and I have wrapped everything that has arrived so far (I am big into online shopping).
So since my shopping is already done, here are my remaining goals for December:
- Spend as much quality time as possible with those that matter most. Life is wayyy to short, and if there is anything the past year has taught me, it’s who and what matters the most in this life.
- Make progress with my Real Estate Licensing. Real Estate licensure is no joke; the school and necessary test-prep to pass the state test is actually a lot more work than I ever could have imagined. Truthfully, you can make the online school as easy or as hard as you want, but you have to be able to pass the closed-book exam at the end. So I am really taking my time, and trying to make sure I don’t miss anything.
- Really focus on working towards a healthier lifestyle. I am up about 10 lbs., and I really want to work on eating better and exercising more consistently.
- Continue pursuing personal growth into the New Year. The last 6 months or so, my primary focus has been to really reinvent myself. I want to be proud of myself, and the things I accomplish; and I want my loved ones to be proud, as well. So in the month of December, I want to continue to grow as a person and as an individual. 2019 is going to be my year; I’m sure of it.
Next month, the goals blog will be a combo of January goals and New Years resolutions. What are you guys trying to accomplish before the New Year? Leave me a comment and let me know!!
