Recipe: Rotel Dip

Something about Super Bowl Sunday just makes me want to break out my rotel dip! I love any kind of cheese dip, or queso; its literally like my favorite! So I love breaking this recipe out for football games, parties, special occasions, etc. Nothing about it is good for you, but it just taste so stinkin’ good!

There are a couple of different ways you can cook this. If making in advance, the crockpot is the way to go. Just throw all the ingredients in, and let it go. However you can also prepare this dip in the microwave, or in a cast-iron skillet on the grill (my favorite).

What You’ll Need

1 can of Original Rotel

1 roll of Jimmy Dean Hot Breakfast Sausage, browned

Half a full size block of Velvetta Cheese, cubed

Bag of Tostitos Scoops

Start by browning the sausage and cubing the cheese. Next throw all your ingredients together, and warm as fits with your desired cooking method. Serve, scoop, and enjoy!

It’s really just that easy! And SOOOO good. This dish will definitely be a crowd pleaser at your next event!
